Suvarna Takes Two Big Hits

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Santhosh Suvarna raised to 11,000 in the cutoff and Sergio Aido and Bryn Kenney came along from the blinds.

The flop came 862 and Suvarna bet 26,000. Only Aido called to see the 4 turn.

Suvarna then bet 55,000 and Aido moved all in for 195,000. Suvarna called with J10 for a flush draw, while Aido had 86 for two pair. The river was the 2 and Aido held on to double up.

Lynskey Finds an Ace For a Massive Double Off Brewer

Esti Wang had a raise of 85,000 in front of him from early position and Alex Lynskey moved all in for 258,000 in the cutoff. Chris Brewer then reshoved on the button and Wang gave it some thought before folding. "Jacks?" a tablemate asked him.

Brewer was poised for the knockout with his kings as the flop came Q73. The turn was the A and Lynskey took the lead with a pair of aces, leaving Brewer looking to complete a flush to win the pot. He instead saw the 5 fall on the river and Lynskey doubled up.
